We feel like we may have called it yesterday. To promote Borderlands, Cate Blanchett is very much in her funky era. Here’s something we rarely every say about Good Lady Cate: prepare yourself for the scrolldown. It’s much more than you think.
She’s definitely in a goofy belt phase, if not a quirky shades phase. Personally, we think the kicks and the belt skew a little obnoxious/clowny, but she’s proving her fashion bona fides here because she’s making all of this look much more stylish and chic than it actually is. In other words, people who aren’t Good Lady Cate should proceed with caution before considering these style options.
