Joey King, fresh off of her gig at the Cannes Film Festival, where she pretended to get a haircut that she didn’t actually get (no matter what anyone else says, don’t you believe it: stars are not just like us), Joey King is making the rounds of the Tribeca Film Festival, no doubt planning her next little prank. Let’s be extra judgy this time.

Sometimes, especially with a label like Chanel, you’re really better off not overthinking it and going with the tried and true. While we wouldn’t recommend that much quilting in one outfit, we can’t deny that she looks pretty fantastic here.

It’s far too shiny for our tastes, but the color and the style look pretty fantastic on her. Could’ve done without that sheer bit at the hem. The shoes are okay, but probably wouldn’t have been our first pick. The earrings are a little matchy, but she stands out well against a very colorful backdrop and this all feels right for an animated feature premiere.
