Did the ladies of the jury coordinate their looks? Let’s assess. Cannes jury members Greta Gerwig, Eva Green, and Lily Gladstone hit the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony red carpet positively awash in sequins. Granted, it’s not like there’s a dearth of sparkle on any film festival red carpet, but they made for a nicely unified trio. And they all looked spectacular to boot.
Greta Gerwig in Saint Laurent
Gorgeous color on her. Love the hair and earrings. The shoes are pretty hot, but they strike us as too focus-pulling.
Eva Green in Armani Privé
It’s always nice to see a floor-length hem that knows where the floor is. The earrings don’t quite go as well as they should and the makeup strikes us as a little harsh, but those are the only quibbles we have. The dress is gorgeous.
Lily Gladstone in Gucci
Move star. We love a black-and-navy combination, but it doesn’t always photograph well. She’s in daylight and you can barely see the embroidery. Still, the color and style are stunning on her and her hair looks amazing.
