Anne Hathaway came to slay and everyone else came to watch her do it at the New York premiere of The Idea of You.
Anne Hathaway in Versace
It’s a gorgeously head-turning sort of gown with the kind of design that forces you to linger on it and take it in. She looks pretty amazing in it, but we have to admit that the proportions feel a little off. That bust design is pretty fabulous, but it seems to us that it needs to be a little more substantial to balance out the rest of it. Also, her hair is oddly casual. It doesn’t really go with the style of gown.
Ella Rubin
For such a generic and forgettable design, there’s a little bit too much going wrong. The strap placement is terrible, they’re cutting into her, and the bust is too small on her. The hair bow is juvenile. We don’t care if it’s trendy.
Gabrielle Union in Sportmax
Simple, but effective and gorgeous. The makeup is fantastic.
Nicholas Galitzine in Fendi
Put bluntly: his own coloring is too sallow and brown for him to be turning to neutrals as often as he does. This just looks dreary as hell on him.
Reid Scott
It’s rare to see a guy pull off classic summer suiting on the red carpet. He looks great.
Viktor White
Love the jewelry. The shirt’s okay, but it really doesn’t coordinate all that well with the pants.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
