The red carpet pickings have been slim and we haven’t had a chance to put a frock up to a vote in a while, so we’re gonna throw Miss Jennifer Hudson to the wolves, aka, all of y’all.

Feels like more of a dress for November to February rather than a springtime frock. We kinda think you shouldn’t be dressing for New Year’s Eve on April Fool’s Day, but we can’t fault a star for wearing an exuberant metallic any chance she gets. We are very tired of designers putting marabou feathers on everything. We also can’t claim to love the turtleneck or the hem length, and we wonder if she should’ve skipped taking the metallic into the shoe choice. She doesn’t look bad, obviously, but it’s up to you to decide if the quibbles are enough to tip over into OUT territory. Make the call:
