2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Rundown

We gave Queen Bey and her one time co-star Jennifer Hudson the spotlight treatment, but it’s time to round up a few more of the attendees at the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards and tell them all what we think of their style choices. Like most music awards shows, the vibe is distinctly loud and tacky. Don’t come here if you’re looking for subdued elegance.

Only Cher could make cargo pants look cool. Everything he’s wearing makes him look like a kid playing dressup, which is not the vibe you want to be going for here.

Avril Lavigne

A classic.

GloRilla

It’s fine, but it’s so flimsy it looks like a beach coverup.

Green Day

A trio of classics.

Ice Spice in Rick Owens

It looks like her breasts have been blacked out to protect their identity. Other than that, it’s a decent look.It looks like her breasts have been blacked out to protect their identity. Other than that, it’s a decent look.

The gloves are very silly, but how would we recognize Jared Leto if he wasn’t wearing at least one very silly thing?

Jessica Betts (in Richfresh) and Niecy Nash-Betts (in Safiyaa)

We covet that track suit, but nothing will make you look more like a senior citizen before your time than pairing any sort of athleisure with men’s style dress shoes. She looks great, but we’ll be honest: a little overdressed.

We will support any queer person who’s trying to figure out their look, but girl, we’ve gotta tell you, this is all looking silly and extremely forced. You really want to go hard? Shave your head, take off the makeup and vow to let nothing sparkly anywhere near your body.

Justine Skye in Dolce & Gabbana

She’s making it look very dramatic and the color is gorgeous on her, but there’s no design here.

Girl, please. In a world where the sheer dress has become ubiquitous, you managed to find the ugliest, dumbest version of one. Those craftsy-looking Christmas bows are an affront to the very idea of fashion design.

Lainey Wilson

On brand and on point. While the flares do a good job of balancing out the shoulders, she still comes off a little triangular. Maybe bring those pads down a couple sizes.

Lance Bass

We guess so.

Latto in Fancì Club

It’s too small and too tight on her, but that’s practically de rigueur with this crowd. It’s cute enough.

Lola Brooke

Probably one of the best denim gowns we’ve ever seen. The fit is fantastic. The booties were a mistake.

Ludacris in Tom Ford

Enh. We’d never be so essentialist as to suggest a classic (more or less) moto jacket can’t be lavender, but we don’t think the style/color combo works all that well. The rest is dadwear.

Peso Pluma

We’d be okay with this almost certainly inadvertent Elvis tribute if the pants actually fit.

Tate McRae in Rabanne

Hello, 2003. It’s been a while. We’re not actually mad at this. It’s basic, but it works.
