The stars came out in glitter and pastels for the premiere of the glitter and pastel-filled Palm Royale. Let’s judge their breezy efforts.

Allison Janney in Marmar Halim

The dress is gorgeous. We’re not sure a pale silver-gray is really the best color for her, but the ensemble is pretty fine. We go back and forth on the hair. Is it fun or is it a mess?

This will never not look like a valet to us, especially if you ditch the tie.

Kaia Gerber in Alaïa

The color looks gorgeous on her, but that skirt and sleeve are dumb. We just realized we described the whole dress. It’s literally a skirt and a sleeve.

Leslie Bibb in Rodarte

It’s a basic dress design in a drab color and the whole thing is made worse by the addition of lace trim and bows, neither of which really go with the style of dress. To top it off, a really unflattering hairstyle. None of this is working, we’re afraid.

We get that you might not want to put all of the goods on display all the time once your reach a certain age, but he has several Speedo scenes in the show and we’re here to tell you, the goods deserve displaying. This looks awful on him. Why are the guys all dressing like security, valets, and cater waiters at these events lately?

Carol looks great. From the turtleneck to the ballet flats, the outfit is full of smart choices that allow her to be comfortable, with one dazzling piece to pull all the focus and provide that touch of glamor. Kristen looks gorgeous, although we don’t love the shape of that neckline.
