Oscars 2024: Ryan Gosling in Gucci

We didn’t do an Ology post for Barbie star and Best Supporting Actor nominee Ryan Gosling because he didn’t actually promote himself all that much during awards season. When he did, he always sported the same style of Gucci suit, usually in a pastel color, with piping around the collar. For the big night, Gucci supplied him with more of the same, except with a slightly more formal, infinitely more disco sort of vibe to it.

It’s a little sloppy in the sexy-sleazy way he tends to be good at working. The bright pink socks were a nice touch, but they were also probably a practical choice so he could make a quick change into the other suit Gucci provided for him:

We’ll be honest. This performance is the whole reason for spotlighting him. We hope he gets an Emmy nomination for it.
