Kirsten Dunst, congratulations on your new film Civil War, which looks like it’s going to start a lot of conversations. Having said that, we want better things for you than this, Kirsten Dunst:

No one rails against method dressing on the red carpet more than we do, but even we think this is kind of an odd choice for this kind of film. Just the visual of this primly romantic dress against that backdrop looks a little strange. As for the dress, we think if you decide not to wear the big flower sash in the look book, you might as well skip wearing the dress at all. It’s a fussy detail, but if you take it away, there’s just not enough of a look there. We’d have liked it if the dress had a little more of a fit to it, but if you take that sash off, it would be a gigantic triangle. The color’s not that great for her, but it might have worked with a better makeup job. Why is her hair such a mess? Kiki, who did this to you?
