And now, one of our favorite pastimes: yelling at cute boys for being dummies. Masters of the Air star Callum Turner came to chat with Jimmy Fallon dressed like a bike messenger dropping off some paperwork.
We don’t think The Tonight Show – or any talk show, for that matter – should be considered a formal venue or even a dressy one. Suits and skirts are not required, nor are dress shoes. Too many sports stars and pop stars have sat in those chairs wearing track suits or jean for us to act like there’s some sort of dress code at play. For us, the issue here isn’t that he’s dressed casually, it’s that it all comes off so aggressively, borderline pretentiously “regular.” You’re a movie and TV star and you’re dating Dua Lipa. Dress the part! You’re not watching a game at the pub. Step it up a little. Get better sneakers. Wear a color. Or better yet, a garment with buttons.
