If Willy Wonka was the cover star of Non-Threatening Boys magazine, that is. It’s not cosplay, for which we’re grateful, but it does have a sort of “What if Willy Wonka started out as a pop star” vibe to it. Wonka, but make it sexy. Is that sacrilege? That all depends on how you feel about this film, we suppose. It’s not the most exciting of looks. Pink velvet became a menswear red carpet trend at least a couple of years back. But he looks great in it and we really can’t find anything to complain about. It’s stylishly good branding that takes a great picture. In other words, it fulfills the entire point of a movie premiere red carpet.
