Thanks to a SAG AFTRA waiver, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes star Rachel Zegler is out here on these streets serving looks and promoting the hell out of it. We thank her for these content blessings. But we’re still gonna judge them.

Maybe it’s because these pictures are well-lit and she’s posing to beat the band, but we are a little surprised by how much we like this. If nothing else, it all feels unexpected, right down to the black accessories. The top is entirely too tricky for our tastes, but the combo of the ombre skirt and those surprisingly bad ass shoes (see the video embedded below for the full effect) really works for us.

Evidently she’s in a very one-shoulder mood, going by this outfit and her previous one. This is kind of simple, but really well-styled. The texture of the dress and the white straps on the shoes keep it from feeling generic or dull. It’s a sharp look.
