Divas supporting divas. We love to see it. Fresh off her Renaissance tour (and in advance of her own concert film premiering in December), Beyoncé came out to show her support for Taylor Swift at the premier of her Eras Tour concert film. If these two ordered their fandoms to take up arms, the world would be conquered within hours. We should be grateful that they’re only using their awesome power for good (or at least, to make more money for themselves).
Bey didn’t stick around too long for red carpet pictures. That’s just not how the Queen rolls. But we’re digging her Amazonian breastplate and shitkicker boots, which make a nice counter to Tay’s princessy vibes. We’re assuming that Tay will be returning the favor when Bey’s film opens. We can’t imagine she’d risk the wrath of the Hive by not showing up.
And now, blasphemy: We hate the dress. The quilted effect gives it a bit of a bedspread feel to it and the cutouts give it a bit of a moth-eaten feel, neither of which strikes us as particularly fabulous.
