Issa Rae can’t technically promote her upcoming film American Fiction while the SAG AFTRA strike is still ongoing, but that doesn’t mean she can’t stop by Jimmy Fallon’s place in a cute look.
Admittedly, it’s the coat that makes the look here. It’s rare that we wind up praising outerwear for an in-studio ensemble, but without that coat, the entire outfit goes a little generic. The styling does a lot here as well. Hair, makeup and jewelry are all great. The shoes are pretty fab on their own, but we can’t help thinking the black is a little bit of a letdown, although the sparkly soles make up for it, we suppose.
