Our harsh words in response to her animal print overdose yesterday have clearly sparked a course correction in The Mother star Jennifer Lopez’s promo style direction. She has swerved sharply away from the tacky toward the classic. You’re welcome, everyone. We’re just doing our jobs here.
At THE VIEW in Michael Kors Collection
He may not be the best or first choice for your Met Gala gown, but if you’re doing the press rounds in New York, you’d be foolish not to turn to Michael Kors at least once. Only she could pull of what looks like a knit jersey jumpsuit during a wet May morning in New York. For us, this look is all about the coat, which is gorgeous.
At THE MOTHER Press Junket in Brunello Cucinelli
She’s always been a gal who loves herself an all-neutral look. We can’t say we’re feeling the skirt at all, but we wonder if a different shoe choice would help sell it. She looks like she’s walking on Coke bottles. It’s great from the waist up and the bag is really nice.
At THE MOTHER Special Screening in Versace
You simply can’t argue with any of that. It’s pretty low-key for J Lo, but this isn’t the kind of event where some grandiose gown or half-naked look would feel right. This is Profesh Jen. Where’s Ben, by the way?
Okay, J Lo! Sure!
