The time has come to start winding down our 2023 Met Gala coverage, so we’re going to ask all of the remaining unjudged gentlemen to line up quietly for mass judgment. In case you missed it – and shame on you if you did – we gave several men the spotlight treatment or included them in other posts, so click through to find all your faves or just click here for all of our Met Gala coverage.

This is surprisingly cute on him. Between this and Lee Pace’s frequent modeling for the brand, we think it’s clear that the TB aesthetic works really well on very tall guys.
Barry Keoghan in Burberry

We can’t say we love the turtleneck and the poor hemming of those pants is very disappointing. It’s a bold, fun look, though.
Ben Platt in Wiederhoeft

He’s doing nothing to sell the look and it just feels very tryhard to us.

True style.
Dr. Dre in Burberry

We don’t love that royal blue Burberry plaid as much as Burberry seems to, but he looks great here.
Jack Harlow in Tommy Hilfiger

It’s a really interesting design, combining athleisure, Chanel and formal dress elements. He looks great in it. We’re just not convinced it’s up to Met Gala standards.

Look, we’re usually the first people to roll our eyes at his attention-seeking shenanigans, but the Choupette costume didn’t bother us at all. For one, Jared actually knew Karl, so we have to assume there’s a certain level of sentimental fun in the choice. And second, we’ve always complained that Leto’s approach to style and the red carpet was so joyless. This was the most fun we’ve ever seen him have on a red carpet. As for the somewhat tired Glampire look underneath… meh.
Jeremy Pope in Balmain

Impressive, but we’re gonna be honest: a little gimmicky. It looks like a rug.
Kodi Smith-McPhee in Prada

It’s as if aliens tried to mimic human clothing and got some of the details a little off. In other words, it’s perfect for him.
Maluma in BOSS

If you think Karl would have disapproved of this, you would be very, very wrong. He looks chic and hot. The top and pants are leather, but they look as soft as silk.
Pete Davidson in Fendi

Ok, sure. It’s high end and there’s definitely a sense of style to it. It’s very true to him in a lot of ways. There are good reasons to love this whole ensemble, but it’s too casual for the Met Gala.
Rami Malek in Prada

Can we get some more appetizers over here?

Again: can’t say we’re in love with that blue, but this look is sharp as shit.
