As we said after her disappointing showing at the LA premiere, all we really want to see from The Little Mermaid star Melissa McCarthy during the promo tour is fun, draggy, fashion that doesn’t necessarily evoke Ursula so much as it presents an alternate view of her where she’s a much nicer, more glamorous sea witch. Well, she nailed it this time. Prepare yourself for the scrolldown, because there’s a really fun surprise at the end.

Those boots are EVERYTHING. The whole ensemble is great, but that little pop of glittery fun at the bottom just makes this look. The pink looks fantastic on her and we love how the gown evokes anemones, seaweed and jellyfish without being literal about it. Love the jewelry, especially that gigantic cocktail ring. It’s just a fun, glam look that suits her and the occasion really well.
