Shelley O is out serving looks! Ah, it feels almost comforting, doesn’t it? Every since Michelle Obama gave up that FLOTUS life (no doubt somewhat happily), her public style has become both more relaxed and much m ore adventurous. She’s feeling herself and she’s not afraid to show that she’s happier being who she is rather than existing as a figurehead fulfilling a role. She stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s place to promote her latest book The Light We Carry, looking pretty spectacular.
And we’re not even all that crazy about what she’s wearing, but it almost doesn’t matter because she’s pulling it off so well. We could have done without the apron. The pants could use a hemming and we think the shoes are a missed opportunity to add some glitter or color to the equation, but her hair, makeup and jewelry are all fantastic and the jumpsuit has a relaxed, modern vibe to it that she clearly responds well to. She looks great.
