Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler at the MURDER MYSTERY 2 Premiere

From our perspective, Murder Mystery 2 stars Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler make the perfect co-stars, because they both have a long history of doing as little as possible for a red carpet appearance. We always greet their latest project with the same level of enthusiasm they show for fashion.

To be fair, Jen has a history of showing up in plain dresses, with her hair and face fully did. Adam has a history of showing up in basketball shorts and t-shirts fit for a person about ten times his size. It’s probably not fair to lump them together, given the massive differences in effort, but they both come off like people who tend to hate this sort of thing. And to their credit, they both did okay here. He stepped up his efforts massively, which makes us think there’s something magical about the Eiffel Tower which causes schlubs to put the effort in. Anyway, she looks neutrally, low-key great, which is to say she looks as good as she can in a dress as dull as this. She briefly tried to be interesting for a second by wearing a faux fur shrug with it:

And we’re sorry that she felt she had to take it off, because she looks so much more interesting with it on.
