DAISY JONES & THE SIX New York Screening Red Carpet Rundown

Those would-be rock stars from Prime Video’s new limited series Daisy Jones & the Six came out to the 92nd Street Y for a little posing and promotion. We’re going to have a few things to say about the series in an upcoming podcast, but we’d recommend it, even if it isn’t perfect at times. It’s extremely watchable and the songs are honestly amazing.

Riley Keough in Proenza Schouler

This is kind of cute except for the too-long sleeves and the too-flared flares. It looks like there’s some sort of embellishment around the hem, but as always with all-black ensembles on the red carpet, it’s hard to see the details. The witch boots don’t go with the pants.

Not to keep banging this drum, but it’s honestly a little hilarious how bad he is at maximizing what he’s got. He’s nothing but pure stunning at all times in the series, but he looks like a total schlub here. The suit does nothing for him and the grooming actively works against him.

This is a lot for a screening. We love the way her hair works with the collar, but we could have done without the feathered cuffs and hem.

This is pretty great, but it’s another case of witchy boots not quite working with the look. We’d honestly have loved a pair of combat boots here.

The only one here who dressed like an actual rockstar. The shoes are goofy as hell, but the rest of it works.

Also a lot of look for a screening. It’s a genuinely interesting ensemble, however. That’s not an easy thing to do with a big pile of beige fabric. We just wish the pants weren’t so long.
