Catherine Princess of Wales showed her support for England’s men’s team in the Rugby World Cup Quarter-Finals by attending their matchup against Papua New Guinea this weekend. She also met with England’s men’s and women’s rugby teams for the first time since taking over the royal patronage of the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League after Prince Harry gave it up. We didn’t get our favorite iteration of the Princess: Sporty Cathy, since she wasn’t there to kick a ball around herself. Instead, we got confirmation that the Princess is definitely in her boots-and-turtlenecks style phase.
Not really much to report or comment on from a style perspective. The coat’s nice and the little peek of pleated skirt looks promising. We don’t think the brown boots make the best choice for the look, which might indicate why she’s so keen on wearing tone-on-tone outfits all the time. Maybe she’s bad at pairing up colors.
