Don’t be fooled by the sleek, chic look of Naomi Watts’ dress at the premiere of The Watcher. This one requires a scrolldown and this time, we’re going to prepare you: It all goes a little Astroturf at the end.

Did we lie? Does the bottom two-thirds of this skirt not inexplicably turn into an outdoor carpet situation? Do we have an irresistible urge to brush her skirt? The answers are no, yes and yes. We won’t deny that it’s an interesting design and that it works a little better on the model, because the hem hits higher and the green sheer stockings are a more interesting effect than the green pumps Naomi’s sporting. We’ll credit her for wearing one of the more interesting frocks of the week, but we don’t think the truly interesting part of this dress is actually all that pretty.
