Westworld is returning for its fourth season and we can’t even think of a show that managed to evaporate our interest in it so effectively. We ate up every second of its first season and wound up limping our way through its third. We’re just gonna say it: they never should’ve abandoned the conceit at the heart of the story. Once everyone stopped playing cowboy, the show lost its reason for being and turned into an utterly generic sci-fi story about AI. Anyway, enough ranting. Here’s Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood, serving the old school ’70s style glam:
Overall, it’s a little too Stepford Wife for us, but the color is beautiful on her. We love the sweep and drape of the skirt. We remain unconvinced on the merits of side cutouts, but we think that shoulder train detracts from the design a little. The bodice would be able to shine a little more without the distraction of that piece. In related news, we don’t think the style or the color of her hair are really to her benefit.
