We hate to say it, because she’s pretty much world-class when it comes to pulling off high fashion, but we think this might just be an FMO – For Models Only – dress. Put it on a professional dress-wearer and ask her to walk around under optimal conditions for no longer than a couple of minutes and it looks kind of great (see below). Put on practically anyone else and ask them to go out in the world wearing it and it comes off awkward and overdesigned – even when that wearer has purebred diva blood in her veins and walked quite a few runways herself back in the day. It’s just not a dress that responds well to an actual person living and moving around normally in it. It’s full of personality, but the design is really iffy.
