We’re supposed to be all happy and supportive about this because we’d say she objectively looks pretty great, but The Thing About Pam star Renee Zellweger is looking great in a dress she shouldn’t be wearing to promote a role she shouldn’t have gotten. There. We said it.

But all we can do whenever a celebrity comes out in a piece provided by those problematic bitches Dolce & Gabbana is wag our angry little blogger fingers at them. The brand remains very popular among stars and their stylists for rather obvious reasons: they continue to make dazzling clothes that look great in pictures and help a celebrity brand and market themselves.

Maybe it’s a little harsh to say she shouldn’t have gotten this role, but given how much press has been generated by the wonder and bravery of her transformation via a fatsuit and a whole lot of prosthetics, we’re put off by the whole thing. All that work to make her look like a thousand actresses better suited for the role.
