All shall love her and despair.

While we’ll always love when Good Lady Cate gets her eleganza on or when she gets her rocker chick on, we have to admit, we’re starting to really love when she says “Fuck it, I’m hot” and goes with that. Her layered, off-beat Louis Vuitton for the Cesar Awards was interesting and chic, but this look is pure sex. The embellishments around the neckline could have looked heavy and awkward, but something about the proportions and placement keep them from overwhelming the design. The onyx rings and earrings are just chef’s-kiss flawless and that one little shot of green on her left hand is like the perfect little grace note for the look. There’s that odd sort of crumb-catcher detail in the skirt that we suppose we should denounce, but it really doesn’t bother us because the whole look is so sleek and dramatic that we barely notice it.

Can we just say? It is such a goddamn RELIEF to see that the red carpet is well and truly back. So many people predicted it would never return or that it would change dramatically, but these two queens are THRILLED to see all this eleganza and hotness on an awards season red carpet.
