The two big questions of the night at the SAG Awards were: Will Lady Gaga win for House of Gucci? And what is she going to wear? Okay, maybe those were just OUR big questions of the night. Steffi didn’t get an Oscar nomination for her work playing Patrizia Reggiani, so all of the Gaga fandom hopes were on this one. She didn’t get the trophy, but at least she served a killer look.
That’s just pure star power. Old school Hollywood glam with a slight pop star edge to it. These sorts of open bodices with a bustier or bra underneath can look awfully gimmicky, but we don’t mind it here. It looks more like lapels than an open dress and we can’t really claim that glittery bust looks like an exposed bra. All things considered (like the fact that she’s Lady Gaga), this is remarkably restrained for her; almost sedate, really – if you can say that about pure white gown with a sparkly bust. We like the rockstar eye makeup but we really don’t like the hair, which looks positively weighed down with product. The necklace is gorgeous.
