Patrick Wilson and Halle Berry at the “Moonfall” Premiere

Posted on February 01, 2022

In the interests of blogger transparency, we’re a little tapped out after posting a huge recap and a huge interview back to back, so we’re thrilled to just let the genetically gifted show off how photogenic they are while we recuperate in our recliners.

Okay, fine. We’ll judge them.

Patrick Wilson in Hermès‎

We especially want to judge him. His blandness is what got us up and out of our recliners. We don’t care if it’s Hermès‎, that is a totally generic suit that may as well have been off the rack. Here’s our tough-love assessment. He’s sort of like a male January Jones; conventionally very good-looking, but if you don’t put him in something interesting, he just goes Ken Doll boring on you. Sorry, Patrick, but there it is. His personality doesn’t seem like the type who’d be interested in showy high fashion stuff, but we bet he’d look really cute in a pale blue suit and white kicks.

Halle Berry in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini

This is yet another entry on the “You can never predict what Halle Berry is going to wear” list. Sometimes she’s Boho, sometimes she’s Street, sometimes she’s girly, sometimes she’s glam. She’s residing in the girly-glam sector tonight and of course it’s working just fine for her. We don’t love the dress and we don’t think it looks all that great from any angle except head on, but the shape is cute and we love the shoes.
