The kids are over in Paris, doing fashion.

As bitchy red carpet bloggers, we CANNOT TELL YOU how happy and relieved we are that we made it to the Paris premiere of Dune. We can tell you that there were times over the last year when we didn’t think this day would come. After all, from the second they announced the casting of Dune (especially the Zendaya and Chalamet parts), we knew a major high-fashion parade was in the offing. There was no way these two weren’t going to do everything in their power to out-do the other one, knowing they’d be standing side-by side.

Zendaya utterly lapped you on this one, Timmée.

Personally, we love the idea of a literal denim tuxedo complete with satin lapels. And we think it looks great on him, really. But let’s face it: You can barely see him standing next to her.

The color is gorgeous on her and the hair (which is, of course, GLORIOUS) makes a perfect counter to that big, furry skirt. And yes, we do get that the phrase “big furry skirt” doesn’t lend itself to visions of elegance and chicness, but personally, we think the effect here is undeniable. She looks amazing.
