Miss Vanessa Hudgens has been out here on these Sardinian streets, representing for the Filming Italy festival. And by that we mean she’s out serving lewk after lewk for the international press, bless her heart. The star of the upcoming Tick, Tick…BOOM! is clearly gearing up for the kind of promo tour that calls for fashion DRAMA and we are here for it.

It’s classic, never-goes-wrong sexy red carpet style. Our only quibble is with the beige sandal, which makes no kind of sense with that style and color of gown.

We’ll say this: She’s in the exact right spot for modeling this dress. If she was standing in front of a less gorgeous backdrop, we might be focusing more on how hideous that strip of lace is in the skirt. The rest of the design is cute and photogenic enough to overcome it, but from the knees down, it looks like fancy bedding.

Gold metallics don’t always photograph well, but we think this is kind of fabulous. It’s glamourous, but with a loungey, pajamas sort of vibe to it. Quibbles: She needs bigger hoops and we’re not sure black platforms were the right way to go for the shoe choice when a gold sandal would have been so perfect. LOVE the pendant.
