A side-cutout dress with a cord sash around the waist has got to be one of the more Satanic fashion design elements we’ve seen lately. Weird, because Brandon Maxwell seems like such a nice guy. We’d never have pegged him as the type to foist unholy fashion upon the world, in service to his Dark Master. Evidently.

We were so ready to trash this because of the aforementioned horrifying design element, but we’ve gotta say, it’s styled really well and she posed it in exactly the best way to show it off. We’d have thought this would be suitable only for posing at home, but she actually wore it out to a This is Us finale event. Brave lady. Still, she’s actually making it work. In fact, we’d say it’s one of her better dresses in some time. Love the shoes and bag and her hair looks really pretty. We just aren’t loving the whole middle area, including the underboob situation.
