Nailed it! Not her, us. Okay, her too, we guess.

Our point is that we sussed out in our recent Amanda-ology post that her style motifs have been romantic, butch or gothy and sometimes she combines them. And here she is, making us look all smart and stuff by returning to the Wednesday Addams style that suits her so well:

We adore this, full stop. We might normally wonder if an actress in her thirties would want to go in a direction with juvenile undertones, but there’s a real sophistication to this dress that keeps it from looking like something for a little girl, despite the lacey bib. We don’t expect full agreement on this one, which is why we’re throwing it out to y’all for the final word.
