We keep coming back to this ensemble because our opinion on it changes with each look at it.

First, we had to get past the feeling that the reds were slightly off from each other. It could just be a quirk of the lighting since the (admittedly rather filtered and stylized) look book shot doesn’t give the same impression. But then we think it might be a good thing that the reds are slightly different, since she opted for a purple metallic eyeshadow, which does tend to give the sweetly glam outfit just a little bit more of an attitude to it. But then we look at the beige pumps and any sense of “attitude” gets greatly reduced. AND THEN we look at the look book and wind up thinking that maybe the vaguely ooh-la-la Frenchified styling is the way to go.
We have a lot of thoughts about fashion, you see. It’s a good thing we have this blog or we’d be insufferable.
