Looking back on it, it’s kind of amazing how much Katy Perry’s accomplished since lockdown started. She released her Smile album and subsequently promoted the hell out of it through the opening days of the pandemic – and pregnant, to boot. Then she had her baby and jetted off to the inauguration to literally set off fireworks and now she’s out again promoting the next season of American Idol. And with each new announcement, performance or appearance, she worked a different look. You can never really predict what you’re going to get from her except that it will usually be bold, often be extremely colorful, and always be hard to ignore.

We can’t really say we love this print at all. The colors are harsh and the butterfly thing is overdone. But she has a way of bringing joy to her style and this feels like a new mom taking the chance to have fun and remind everyone of who she is. Works for us.
