Allison Williams is a savvy star who knows how to maximize her exposure if not her slay. Like all savvy stars, she knows that you have to have a walking-in outfit for any talk show appearance, because then you will be photographed twice; once on the way in and once on the way out. It’s not like the stars have to pay for these outfits. May as well snag and wear every one you can get your hands on.

Granted, in most cases, when a star has a walking-in outfit, it’s because she just finished a day of press engagements. In other words, she already sat through hours of interviews in this getup. The pants are pretty great, but we feel like a waist that high calls for a top with a little more of a shape to it. Or maybe it’s just that we don’t like that top at all.

This is very much in her low-key glam style mode, although we question whether the sweater and the skirt actually work together, not to mention whether they make any sense for June in New York. One thing’s for sure: the black pumps are dumb.
