Darlings, we don’t have a crazy high number of leftover looks to show you this week, but that’s not because the pickins were slim. Au contraire, kittens! It’s because we snatched up nearly every look that came our way this week and give it a spotlight. Good job, celebs and stylists! You gave us lots to discuss this week!
Chrissy Teigen in Jonathan Simkhai
Chrissy seems to have two styles she returns to above all others. This one’s her “sexy, breezy, casual, SoCal” style and she looks great in it – even when there are things like side cutouts and clear plastic shoes involved.
Chrissy Teigen in Tom Ford
This is her other style go-to and we think when you take them together, they kind of make sense as to her whole image, which is equal parts “breezy-chic lifestyle brand” and “pop star adjacent.”
Dominique Fishback in Georges Hobeika
Miss Dominique had a great week, with her film Judas and the Black Messiah opening to critical acclaim at Sundance. To mark the occasion, she wore a couple of red-carpet worthy looks. We’re not entirely in love with the proportions of that neckline, but this is a really pretty, sexy-sweet, uncomplicated sort of look.
Dominique Fishback in Prabal Gurung
This shade of blue keeps popping up lately and she’s the first one we’ve seen who looks great in it. This is another relatively uncomplicated, high-glamour look. Interestingly enough, we don’t love the bustline here either.
Mindy Kaling in Azzedine Alaïa
Cute!
Soko in Gucci
Soko is a French actress-singer whose film Mayday also opened to high praise at Sundance. She’s clearly got a KILLER style game going on, but then again, we’d expect as much from a French pop star/actress. We’re amazed by how much we love this on her. We’re pretty sure we’d hate those pants on anyone else, but she’s got the goods to make them work. Love the jacket and bowtie.
Taraji P. Henson in Gucci
A little bit of backyard glam from Miss Taraji. The color of that jacket looks amazing with her hair color.
