Do we want to watch a horror/action film about the totalitarian world in the wake of COVID-23? Not on your life, but we would never denounce a film like that since there’s a long history of horror and speculative fiction created in direct response to audience’s current fears. Why are we say all of this? Because the star of the aforementioned film – Songbird – is out here serving lewks at a level that demands attention and for that she gets our respect. And our spotlight.
And our judgment, of course.
We adore a gal in high fashion who’s got an innate sense of drama. Dangle that hand in the air, girl. Cock that hip. Work that suit. It’s a pretty fabulous look all over. The black pumps feel like a missed opportunity, but we live the richness of the textile and the addition of the vest. She looks fabulous.
Salvatore Ferragamo and Prada
There have been a handful of all-leather looks coming down the celebrity style pipeline of late. We’re not usually fans of them, nor do we tend to like the kind of irregular hem this skirt is sporting. But damn, if she’s not looking fierce here. Just two really well curated, photogenic, strong-as-hell looks. Good for her.
