Miss Gwen sticks close to the set-in-stone Stefani drag while still managing to sport the hottest trend in celebrity fashion this month. Sometimes, if you’ve got a consistent look, the trends come around to you instead of the other way around.

While thigh-high boots may be having a moment in the celebrity style spotlight of late, it takes a Gwen Stefani to work a pink patent leather pair of them. Especially if they’re paired with a pink shower puff of a dress. This is all very on-brand in a sort of Dolly Parton-esque way. She figured out a look for herself some time back and there doesn’t seem to be much chance of her switching it up any time soon. It’s not really style so much as branding. And at 51, it doesn’t appear like she’s going to age out of it either. Can’t really argue against any of it on those grounds. It works for her, it maintains her brand, and goddamn, if she still can’t work the shit out of this pixie pop princess drag.
