Blindingly white! Why is it all so…creamy, you guys? Why is she in a crop top while he’s in a turtleneck? Is that turtleneck sheer? What monster would do such a thing? What is the point to the fringe? Or the black shoes, for that matter? So many questions, not enough answers.

She looks fun! Like the person we’d make a beeline to at the holiday party.
Charlie Puth in Prada
Was everyone asked to come dressed like their favorite dairy product or something? Once again, we do not understand wearing black footwear with this salute to half-and-half.
Gabby Barrett in Talbot Runhof
This feels like a lesser version of some fairly iconic red carpet looks. Sorry, girl. The design’s not fresh and the textile doesn’t photograph well.
Jimmy Allen and Alexis Gale
Can’t really argue with anything here, even if it is a little standard.
Kelsea Ballerini in Dolce&Gabbana

We hate that we like this, what with it being D&G and all.
Little Big Town
You can always count on these guys to show up hitting just the right note of modern Country Glam. The gents look fine and the ladies look like too much and that’s the way it should be. Karen’s beaded dress looks like it’s not worth the effort, though. Way overdesigned and fussy in the extreme.
Maren Morris in Dolce&Gabbana
She gave a really great, impassioned speech about recognizing Black women in country music, but we’re still going to point out that she showed up in boudoir-wear.
Miranda Lambert in Alex Perry
Oof. That’s a tough pink to pull off and it doesn’t help that the bag, shoes and manicure are all clashing or competing with it. Can’t say the design’s doing much for her, either.
Reba McEntire
Can’t argue with the queen.
Summer Duncan and Jon Pardi
This is simply EVERYTHING we want from a country music awards red carpet.
