We’ve been stretching our opinion muscles all day after half a year of letting them get rusty, but now it’s YOUR turn, kittens. Miss Joey wore one of the most conventional looks of the night, which means it makes a perfect opportunity to turn the voting over to you. If we’d made you vote on Gaga or Miley, we fear fistfights may have broken out. Instead, here’s a pretty little floral dress and coordinating pair of pumps to argue over. But pay attention to the details because that’s where this look distinguishes itself.
First let’s note the vivid color story, which brings a bit of an edge to an otherwise standard rose floral and basic silhouette. Second, let’s note (as if you could avoid noting) the massive pieces of jewelry, very few of which seem like intuitive choices for this style of dress. The massive Versace medallion and Versace hair clips definitely take the look somewhere unexpected, but we’ll let you make the call as to whether that’s a good place. The matchy shoes are fine. There’s a sort of push-pull between these very expected elements and wildly discordant ones. Is it working for you? In other words…
