Kittens were rather under-impressed with yesterday’s imaginary Mrs. America photo call, so we’re returning this fantasy press tour to the glamour of the red carpet. Which is good, because both of these gals tend to do their best red carpet work when they turn the stardom dials up to eleven, if you know what we mean. Even better: we’d say each of these looks offer a twist that will force you to consider its pros and cons. In other words, we’re gonna make you work for this one.

The absolute QUEEN of shapewear and impeccable fit. The color is gorgeous on her and the turban is a spectacular touch which elevates the whole feel of the look from being “merely” another glamour gown. Having said all that, the fit in the bust isn’t quite what it could have been. Still, the styling here just cannot be beat.

A scrolldown surprise! Are you disappointed this look ended in baggy pants instead of a skirt? Because we kinda think the jumpsuit factor really takes the look somewhere fun and unexpected. We’re not feeling the shoe choice and we think the plunge may be a bit too much for her (making it comparable to Niecy’s gown), but the color looks fantastic and she’s built for these ’80s retro styles.

So which glamour queen/feminist icon are you rooting for here, darlings?
