Prepare yourselves, darlings. For today, you will be asked to GAG ON THE ELEGANZA!
The Good Lady Cate has always been fashion-oriented and red carpet-adept, owing at least partially to two qualities: her good taste and her willingness to take risks. But we figure you’re considering enough risks in your day-to-day lives at the moment, so we’re just going to serve up the good taste side of her fashion. Both of these gowns are classic, elegant, and chic. And not for nothing, but both could be worn for years and years and years without looking stale or out of style. The Good Lady knows what she’s doing.

For this version of the Classic Black Glamour Gown, the GLC kept her hair sleek and her earrings huge, giving this gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown a little room to shine. We love the cream satin in combination with the black velvet. Somehow, she manages to make one padded shoulder look completely effortless when most would probably wind up looking completely out of balance.

Here, the Good Lady opted for some Madame X realness crossed with a little bit of drag queen exuberance. This might have been a nice, but forgettable gown without those feathers, and it’s again to her credit that she can work an element like that so effortlessly. The view from the back is absolutely gorgeous.
So, which elegant and tasteful gown appeals to you most today, kittens? Are you feeling a little off-balance or are you feeling like a little bit of drag is exactly right?
