Well, we threw a theory out there the other day when Meghan showed up for her first public engagement in months (and one of her last for at least a while) in an uncharacteristically bold and brilliantly colored ensemble. Since she spent most of her public appearances in drab neutrals, in a trying-to-appease-everyone approach, the fact of her new boldness might be a representation of how she’s feeling with the new direction in her life. Turns out? Not just a theory!

SLAY THAT SHIT, DUCHESS! The message here, from killer color, to loads of leg, is loud and clear. It’s saying, “I’m going to hold on tight to my hot soldier boy’s hand and run off to make boatloads of money while everyone in our wakes gags and spits. Cry about it, bitches.”

Or something to that effect. We’re surmising.

Seriously, this is the hottest, boldest, best thing she’s worn since her wedding day. LIVING for those decidedly un-royal earrings.

“Our book Legendary Children: The First Decade of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the Last Century of Queer Life is on sale now!

The Los Angeles Times called it “a nuanced exploration of the gender-bending figures, insider lingo and significant milestones in queer history to which the show owes its existence.”

The Washington Post said it “arrives at just the right time … because the world needs authenticity in its stories. Fitzgerald and Marquez deliver that, giving readers an insight into the important but overlooked people who made our current moment possible.”

Paper Magazine said to “think of it as the queer education you didn’t get in public school” and The Associated Press said it was “delightful and important” and “a history well told, one that is approachable and enjoyable for all.”
