In which your ol’ pals and favorite bickerers go ALL-IN on all things Little Women:

NOT only do we review the 2019 Greta Gerwig-directed version, but we compare it to the 1994 version (extensively) as well as the 1949 and 1933 versions (lightly) and even a bit on last year’s Masterpiece version. Our conclusions? At odds with each other! Lo feels one way about Greta’s version and T feels quite differently. We go into why and how we approached the material, admitting that we haven’t read the book and throwing out a question or two to the legion of people in our listenership who know way more about it than we do. It’s an interesting way to look at a classic story and how it’s been interpreted and re-interpreted over the years, often reflecting how society views women at the time each version was made.

After that, it’s off to the runway! Project Runway, that is:

PUH-LENTY of thoughts expressed on the above messes and occasional not-messes. We love ourselves a good unconventional materials challenge and tying it into the holidays was a smart and fun idea.

We even managed to work in a little book-related bragging because we are what? The hardest working whores in blogging! Thanks for listening, dolls!
