Cathy keeps things as simple as humanly possible – by wearing her signature look in a way only she can: a dress that’s literally named after her.
It’s fine. It’s appropriate. It matches the ring. We’re not going to jump through hoops pretending this is some sort of fascinating fashion statement; merely another in a long line of simple, professional, respectable dresses in the exact same style and shape. This proto-queen’s got a plan and she’s sticking to it all the way to the end. Which is absolutely fine and appropriate, if a little dull for fashion coverage.
Black patent leather pumps are the teensiest little style swerve, though. She’s always been so matchy, but lately it feels like she’s loosened up a little on that one.
