This is the cast we’re most looking forward to covering all the way through awards season. Maybe that’s premature of us, but it’s hard to look at this lineup and not see major awards track action in their immediate future.
And they’re all so distinct and declarative in their fashion (including the director), that there’s no way they won’t collectively take us on quite the style-based promo ride for the next four months. We’re rooting for you little women – and Prince Timmée , of course.
Cute shape, with a sort of simple, workwoman-like style that suits her role, plus just enough sparkle on the feet to suit her tastes.
We’d be pretty meh on that dress (and upset that the handkerchief style dress is trending back), but it’s a fun little swerve from her and the boots made for a pleasantly kickass addition.
We think she can handle them, but that’s a LOT of blouse and a LOT of pant.
Is this a jumpsuit or matching sweater and pants? If it’s the former, that’s kind of bold and fun but if it’s the latter it seems kind of weird.
Meryl’s keeping it Meryl. Prince Timmée’s shirt is too tight, which means it must be child-sized. Also, all of these outfits look much better onstage:
Except for Saoirse’s, which turned out to be a pretty poor choice for the venue. Love Meryl’s shoes!
