Miss Lupita has a new horror film coming out which looks spectacular, while plenty of critics and awards-watchers are still holding out hope that she may get a nomination for her work in Us.  All of this is spectacular news to us, of course, because it means weeks if not months of Miss Lupita unveiling stunning outfit after stunning outfit as she promotes her work. This is why God put her on this earth.

Add with that bit of dramatic flair out of the way, here she is with her latest:

And we … kind of … like it? We definitely love the textile and the colors for her, but we’re not as in-love with the mock turtleneck or the long length of the hem, especially in combination with a pair of white sandals. Some of that might not necessarily matter in the instance of a talk show appearance. If she’d worn this on a red carpet, the proportions might have bothered us more. But sitting down on camera, what reads is the brilliant colors and appealing print in combination with her hair and makeup.

Let’s face it, she can make anything look better than it actually is just by wearing it.

Okay, that looks hilarious. One thing we love about Lupita is how unexpected her project choices tend to be.
