Kerry Washington Brought the Joy as Tyler Perry Gets His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Miss Kerry Washington was out to celebrate the career of her friend Tyler Perry and while we will absolutely talk about the hair and the jewels and the dress and the shoes, we’ve got to take a moment to appreciate just how much joy there is in these shots:

That is absolutely the most fun we’ve ever seen anyone have hanging around outside a parking garage without breaking any laws or commandments.

Now let’s talk about the look.

He’s fine. We would expect no different and he’s perfectly appropriate for the occasion. She chose a lot of dress with a lot of butterflies on it and considering how that sounds when you say it out loud, she’s doing pretty great with it. The butterfly design does tend to look like specimens in a case and overall, we’d say the dress is pretty low on charm given just how many damn butterflies there are on it. But she’s working the hell out of it and we tend to think the hairstyle does an incredible job of balancing out the look and lightening the feel of it a little. We think the pumps could’ve been switched out for a lighter, perhaps less serious-looking shoe, but we seem to be saying that a lot lately.
