This dress, while not exactly shattering any norms or shocking anyone with its intense chicness, nonetheless has more personality and style to it than her last twenty red carpet looks put together. Granted, she’s still eschewing color, but that’s a lot of fringe beading for Mama to be handling. She normally keeps things a lot plainer than this. And we don’t she wears halters all that much because this one really stands out to us. She looks absolutely spectacular, from the zhuzhed hair down to the metallic silver pumps.
It’s a look that says “superstar” while she stands there reminding us that she’s a mom at heart. Well played, dear.
