Okay, so we’re about to say something pretty mean. You see, we both blurted out the same thing upon seeing this look.
“Wow, she looks so much cuter without her boyfriend!”
Sorry, but sometimes a couple of bitches just have to, you know? Anyway, she’s leaning in HARD on the ’80s nostalgia fashion. So much so, that she’s – ironically enough, given her signature role – a little unrecognizable. We’re not used to seeing such big hair on her. As you can see from the runway shot, this was styled in a deliberately ’80s direction by adding the neon pumps and losing the jacket. We really like the skirt, but the look feels a bit … we don’t know, unbalanced. Also: tweed in New York in July sounds like a nightmare.
